I love Australia
In my high school days, I went to Australia on a school trip. In particular Sydney and Keanzu. It was my first travel abroad, but I had more expectation than fear.
When I got on the plane, I had an unfortunate occurrence. Because I had a splitting headache on the plane. I couldn’t think anything. Probably I think it was economy class syndrome. As I had to stay on the plane for a long time, about eight hours, my headache gave me hell. It was really terrible.
We got on with Penris High School in Australia. We sang “Anata no yume wo akiramenaide”. In English it means, “Never give up your dream”. This song was our theme song, and I like it very much. We also made pancakes with them, which were very delicious. A woman who resembled Indu taught me how to wear the apron. In addition We played “drop the handkerchief” with them. It warmed up very much. They called “goose or …”. I forgot it. What’s more, an Asian beauty waved to me, but I didn’t wave wave back. I regret it now.
We went to a zoo. There were many rare butterflies and birds. I asked a worker to take a photograph as I held a koala. He was careless when he took the picture, though, so I looked strange on that photograph. The koala smelled like eucalyptus. Next, I wanted to take a picture with a snake.
It was very good fun and the Australians were very kind. As I have many, many memories, I can’t write everything. There were many things I want to tell them. I thought I’d want to study English more and more, so I belong to the English department now. I study hard and I want to go to Australia again.

Goodonya Mao, glad yer had a goodtime while in Oztralia.
By panckaes did you mean “Damper” it’s a traditional ozzie fare, why? because it’s cheap mate. :)
Next time you’re over here, go down to Bondi Beach and have a surf, it’s bloody terrific!
Also try on a dogs eye and sauce for some nourishment afterwards, can’t beat it. (pie & sauce)
Anyhow keep up the good work Mao!
Cheers

Please show me your photo of the koala. I’ll go to Tasmania next week. As well as you, I want to see many rare animals of Australia like koalas and kangaroos.

Here are two photos of my nieces in Australia. A couple of years ago my little sister went there with the whole family for a month or two because my brother-in-law needed to improve his English.

Your nieces look so cute, Rudolf. How old are they?
My son would love to go to Australia. He says his intention is to improve on his English but deep in my heart I know he is much keener on surfing the waves on the Golden Coast in Queensland.
The film The Endless Summer was a hit during my generation (I used to surf way back then) while The Endless Summer, the journey continues delights my children.
Have you watched any? I recommend it to all those interested by the sea, perfect waves, gorgeous landscapes and a pinch of humour. The English is not difficult to understand either.

Bee—they’re eleven and twelve now, respectively. Those photos were taken a couple of years ago.

I think you mean the “Gold Coast” Bee. I used to live there many years ago, surfed all up and down the coast. A great spot for a visit or holiday.
As for English or the Australian version of it, perhaps you could try a book entitled “They’re a Wierd Mob” by John O’Grady.
The language is very colourful and gives you a real flavour of how English is spoken around these parts.
It is a very funny book.
