Christmas
It is getting colder and colder, and Christmas is getting nearer and nearer. Many stores are showing Christmas goods. There are lots of banners which say, “Merry Christmas”. When walking outside, I hear many Christmas songs for example, “Jingle Bells,” “Silent Night, Holy Night” etc. Do you know ” Rudolph, The Red Nosed Reindeer” in Japanese “Akahana No Tonakai”? I’ve known it since childhood and I like it. Well, now I have a silly but mysterious question… during Christmas season, why do reindeer noses turn red? Trailing Santa’s sleds in the snow is too cold? How’s green or yellow?
Well, all joking aside, I’m looking forward to Christmas very much. Trees, buildings and stations are illuminated brilliantly. They sell special cake named “Buche de Noel”. I like its form, but I’ve never eaten it. Also they sell many kinds of cakes. I feel happy just looking at them.

There is much information about stomatitis. Cure early, or you won’t be able to eat cakes. Do take care!

I don’t think all reindeers noses turn red during christmas…only Rudolph’s and he’s a strange reindeer who gets laughed at by the others. But during a foggy christmas night…Santa needs him at the front of the sleigh so that his nose can light the way because it’s very bright.
“Buche de noel” means christmas log in french. A log is a half meter long piece of a tree.
