Yuu's house

Yoshinori and I stay at Yuu’s house every Thursday. I am at Yuu’s house now.

We usually eat at MacDonald’s or Saizeriya, for Yoshinori loves MacDonald’s, Yuu loves Saizeriya. Yoshinori’s love of MacDonald’s is abnormal. He says, “I’ll marry MacDonald’s in the future.” And Yuu is in love with a waitress at Saizeriya. He says, “As for her, I have no complaint.” They look very happy.

We often go to the beach at night. When we go to the beach, we always look for a falling star. Yuu watched four times and Yoshinori watched three times and I watched once. And everyone wishes on a star. The wishes are secret, though.

Unhappily, somebody stole my bicycle at Yuu’s house. In those days, my bicycle was new. Now, I’m riding a folding bicycle. I love my folding bicycle, and I’m planning to convert it; I want to attach a light. I’m very worried it will be stolen again.

Anyway, Yuu’s house is lots of fun. Everyone should come to Yuu’s house.

I used to lie on the grass in the countryside and also count the falling stars. For a better view, my friends and I would climb the mountain and there would be nothing around us, just the sky above us, the wind and the darkness. We would stare ahead trying to pinpoint some sort of abnormal movement or light which we thought indicated the presence of extra-terrestrial life. Sometimes this could be quite scary.

One of the starriest skies I have ever seen was the one over Amantani, a small island on the Titicaca Lake near the floating islands of Uros in Peru.
